Earlier during the days of joint families children spent time with their grandparents listening to stories. These stories not only passed over the knowledge about our culture, traditions and history but also imbibed great values in the children. With waning of joint families children are bereft of the benefit of their grand parents’ company and this knowledge.
Shruti Foundation strives to fill up a part of this gap and impart children with a sense of courage , self-esteem and righteousness. This magazine Shruti is a step in that direction.
